Our draughting team is highly skilled and qualified. Each technician is allocated an individual project, so complete focus and attention are given to your project. Our standard deliverable is a CAD or PDF file, but we can also provide paper printouts or digital copies on a USB. We work with clients across the UK, providing 2D Drafting services and more to clients throughout the country, including Bath, Bristol and London.

Although he had a subsequent problem with his computer and this delayed the topo from coming through, he was excellent a service recovery and gave me a great price on some drone footage of the site and sent these through promptly. 2D Drafting FAQs

A floor plan is a scaled technical drawing showing the layout of a building or space as viewed from above. It maps out walls, doors, windows, stairs, and other elements to give a clear picture of how a space is arranged and dimensioned.

At Sova Surveys, floor plans are created from measured data captured on site – either using laser scanning equipment, total stations, or traditional measuring tools – and then drafted precisely in CAD software by a dedicated technician. The finished drawing is provided electronically as a CAD or PDF file, and clients have the flexibility to print it out on paper size of their choice.

Making a professional floor plan starts with an accurate site survey. Our surveyors visit the property and capture all the relevant measurements, structural features, and architectural details. That data is then brought back to our team of skilled draughtspeople, who translate it into a clean, dimensioned CAD drawing to your exact specifications.

Professional floor plans are drawn using CAD (Computer -Aided Design) software – such as AutoCAD, Microstation, or Vectorworks – based on precise site measurements. Our draughting team is highly trained and works from survey data gathered on site to produce accurate, to -scale drawings. We can draw floor plans for properties of any size or type, and we’re happy to work to your preferred software format, level of detail, or annotation style.
