A floor plan is a scaled technical drawing showing the layout of a building or space as viewed from above. It maps out walls, doors, windows, stairs, and other elements to give a clear picture of how a space is arranged and dimensioned.

At Sova Surveys, floor plans are created from measured data captured on site – either using laser scanning equipment, total stations, or traditional measuring tools – and then drafted precisely in CAD software by a dedicated technician. The finished drawing is provided electronically as a CAD or PDF file, and clients have the flexibility to print it out on paper size of their choice.

Our draughting team is highly trained and works from survey data gathered on site to produce accurate, to -scale drawings.
